Every Oregonian has equitable access to safe, sustainable housing and services that meet their needs.
To remove barriers by providing tools and support to house and serve rural Oregonians through member agency collaboration.
The Oregon Community Continuum of Care (OCCC) encourages member communities to develop comprehensive systems that address the diverse needs of homeless and at-risk populations by providing a framework for organizing and delivering housing and services. The approach is based on the recognition that homelessness is not solely caused by a lack of shelter but involves various underlying and unmet needs, including physical, economic, and social factors.
Currently, the OCCC comprises members from 26 counties not covered by any other Continuum of Care: Baker, Benton, Clatsop, Columbia, Coos, Curry, Douglas, Gilliam, Grant, Harney, Hood River, Josephine, Klamath, Lake, Lincoln, Linn, Malheur, Morrow, Sherman, Tillamook, Umatilla, Union, Wallowa, Wasco, Wheeler, and Yamhill.
The Continuum of Care (CoC) is structured in a way that the Community Action Partnership of Oregon is the Collaborative Applicant (CA) for the CoC. This means that OC3 is not a 501c3 in itself, but belongs as a functioning program to this nonprofit agency.
Membership in the OCCC is always open. Please fill out our registration form (PDF) and email to our Program Manager, Brooke Matthews (email: brooke@caporegon.org) to become part of the OCCC community.
